Founded in 1910, the company has been run by five generations of craftsmen. Thanks to the excellence of its craftsmen and their unique skills, Dumas Paris supplies some of the world's finest hotels. The workshops, which have been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label, produce pillows with the precision of exceptional craftsmanship, combined with innovative techniques. The precious filling is blown into refined fabric envelopes, sewn directly in the workshops. This century-old craft takes the time to apply unique manual gestures to guarantee exceptional quality. A committed company

For Maison Dumas, the priority is for pillow production to be responsible and sustainable. The brand has opted to recycle its manufacturing waste and reduce the CO2 emissions associated with pillow production. These emissions are measured during bi-annual carbon audits. Part of the profits generated by production also fund carbon sequestration projects that contribute to global carbon neutrality. These consist of forest plantations in Bourgogne Franche-Comté, in which Maison Dumas employees participate.

The flexible Alliance pillow, a favourite of 5-star hotels and luxury hotels, is filled with high-quality microfibre. Microfibre is the noblest and most refined synthetic material for making top-of-the-range bedding. The result of unique know-how, this synthetic pillow offers a sensation of comfort similar to that of a natural pillow filled with noble, airy duvets. The Alchimie flexible synthetic pillow is filled with a blend of siliconised hollow polyester fibre and polyether foam strips. These two materials work in synergy to offer a more elastic and dynamic welcome than a microfibre pillow. The down is sorted through a sieve and the beating is carried out by bamboo stalks to make the most of the properties of the duck down.

The flexible Royal feather pillow, a favourite of 5* hotels and Palaces, combines an intermediate level of support with an ultra-soft welcome thanks to its filling made up of 70% new duck down and 30% duck feathers. The feathers make the pillow firmer.

To enhance every night's sleep, it's essential to pay particular attention to the size of your fluffy pillow. Maison Dumas, Haute Literie craftsmen, offers two standard sizes for its fluffy pillows: 65x65 and 50x70. The square pillow, known as European, provides support for the head and neck, as well as the upper part of the shoulders. The American rectangular pillow supports only the head and neck. Both sizes are suitable for all types of mattress.

Each person's sleeping habits, and in particular the position in which they fall asleep and sleep, determine which size is most appropriate.
